| I just had a terrible experience with a local gunsmith (LA area) and would like to warn everyone off of Allen Timney. I took my Browning in for the following: 1) installation of a Kickeez pad 2) barrel porting and 3) stock refinishing. Let's just say the Kickeez does not fit flush to the stock, the porting left patches of the barrel in need of re bluing, and the refinishing is uneven and worse than when I delivered the shotgun ~ all for $175. Allen is old and I think he can't see too well as he thought it was a great job. |
